Security Department is solely responsible for the assurance of vehicle permits within the Education city and they provide this page to allow you to submit your request directly through this site. Any requests submitted using any other means will not be processed and all mandatory fields must be filled.

Kindly read the following rules carefully before submitting your request.


QATAR FOUNDATION VEHICLE ACCESS PERMIT CONDITIONS, TRAFFIC and PARKING CONTROL POLICY   

  1. By applying and displaying a Qatar Foundation Vehicle Access Permit the owner or driver has agreed to abide by the conditions stated in this document.
  2. All staff, students or dependants wishing to drive a vehicle within the Education City will require a vehicle access permit on their vehicle.
  3. The vehicle permit shall be placed on the lower left side of the windshield’s vehicle that the permit is clearly visible for the security officer. Drivers must comply with the traffic rules and regulations from the security department, those not complying will have their vehicle details sent to the traffic police department.   
  4. Driver and passengers will be required to show their Qatar Foundation or Centre identification card at the security check point. The permit may also be checked to ensure that the permit information is correct and valid.
  5. Passengers or visitors without a Qatar Foundation identification card will be required to register and produce alternative photo identification.
  6. Depending upon the security circumstances, security officers may be required to search the vehicle. If permission is not granted by the driver to search the vehicle, access to the site will be denied.
  7. Permit holders will drive safely and obey all Qatari Traffic Laws whilst on Qatar Foundation property. Racing, reckless driving or any other traffic violation on Qatar Foundation property is strictly prohibited; failure to comply will result in the immediate cancellation of the vehicle access permit and driving privileges on site. All violations will be sent to the traffic police department.
  8. Speed limit in the Education City is 40 kph on road ways and 15 kph in parking lots or roads adjacent to schools unless otherwise posted. Speed will be monitored by electronic means. Speeding is an offence and will be sent to the traffic police department.  
  9. Safety belts will be worn at all times in accordance with Qatari traffic law and use of mobile whilst driving is strictly prohibited.  Drivers must be wearing seat belt at all times.
  10. Vehicles may only park in designated parking areas. Parking in areas such as reserved parking or marked as no parking is an offence and will be sent to the traffic police department.
  11. Parking in a parking space reserved for disabled, when neither the driver nor passengers are disabled is an offence and will be sent immediately to the traffic police department. Vehicles may be clamped or towed.
  12. Permit holders must return the vehicle permit to the security department, if they no longer have the requirement for driving within the Education City .
  13. The permit is not transferable to another vehicle, driver or owner. Permit holders will immediately report the loss or theft of the vehicle permit to Qatar Foundation Security.
  14. Please take all reasonable precautions to see that your personal belongings are protected at all times. Don’t leave books, money or personal items where they can become an attraction for others. We encourage you not to leave valuable items in unlocked vehicles or exposed to view even in locked vehicles.
  15. The person applying for the vehicle access permit acknowledges that they understood and accept the responsibility of ensuring that they or any driver of the registered vehicle shall comply with the preceding traffic rules and conditions as stated herein.
